With one trial still to run before the end of the season, Repsol Honda Team rider Toni Bou has mathematically sealed the FIM Trial World Championship title in Chiampo, Italy.

With one trial still to run before the end of the season, Repsol Honda Team rider Toni Bou has mathematically sealed the FIM Trial World Championship title in Chiampo, Italy.

Toni Bou has clinched the 2016 FIM Trial World Championship in Italy. The triumph is the tenth outdoor title for the Repsol Honda rider, bringing the overall tally to 20 (10 indoor + 10 outdoor).

Bou wraps up a fabulous season with the highest number of wins: 11 victories out of a possible 14 disputed, in spite of some serious doubts after picking up a shoulder injury in pre-season training.

Toni took top honours in each of the grand prix of Germany, Andorra, Belgium, Great Britain, as well as single wins in the two-day events in Catalonia, Japan and France. And in Italy finally won the title with a massive win.
