TrialGP GB Returns to Boughton

Tickets for the 2027 TrialGP of GB are officially on sale but there’s a twist…
The FIM Trial World Championship is returning to Boughton Estate in Northamptonshire next summer with CL Events confirmed as the host organiser for the 2027 TrialGP of Great Britain.
The three-day event will run from Friday, August 27 to Sunday, August 29, bringing the world’s best trials riders back to Geddington for what promises to be another spectacular weekend of world championship action.
Having successfully staged the British round in 2025, CL Events is back for 2027 – but this time with the benefit of hindsight and two years to work out how to make an already impressive event even bigger and better.
The UK-based company, which also runs the Urban Super Trial series and has hosted rounds of the ACU British Trials Championship, received plenty of praise for its first TrialGP in 2025 and will now take the reins again when the championship returns to the same venue.
Boughton Estate proved to be an excellent setting for the world championship, with its mixture of natural terrain providing a genuine test for the TrialGP, Trial2 and Trial3 riders while also giving spectators plenty to see across the weekend.
As the premier international trials championship, TrialGP brings the sport’s elite to British soil, with the three world championship classes joined by a programme of supporting categories to keep the action rolling throughout the three days.
CL Events Event Director Danny Cockshott is understandably delighted to be getting another crack at the British GP.
“Bringing TrialGP Great Britain back to Boughton Estate in 2027 is something we are enormously proud of,” he said. “When we hosted the event for the first time in 2025 we knew straight away that this venue and this event were made for each other.
“The feedback from riders, fans and the wider trials community was outstanding, and we are determined to build on that and deliver something even bigger and better in 2027.
“Boughton Estate is a world-class setting and the Northamptonshire countryside provides exactly the kind of varied, challenging terrain that makes TrialGP the most spectacular two-wheeled motorsport on the planet.”
CL Events Director Jack Lee also believes the event represents an important milestone for the company, which has its roots firmly embedded in the motorcycle industry.
“TrialGP Great Britain is the biggest trials event of the year in the UK and hosting it is something we take enormous pride in,” said Lee.
“CL Events was built on a belief that motorcycle trials deserves to be seen by as wide an audience as possible. Bringing the world championship to Boughton Estate in 2027 is the ultimate expression of that belief.
“John Lee Motorcycles has been part of this sport for over 62 years and to be involved in delivering the FIM World Championship in Britain is a genuinely special moment.”
With the event now officially on the calendar and tickets going on sale today, British trials fans have plenty of notice to get the 2027 TrialGP of Great Britain into their diaries.
The action gets underway at Boughton Estate on Friday, August 27, with the event running through to Sunday, August 29.
