Trials Torque: Kia Bandwagon Continues To Roll
By John Dickinson on 27th Apr 16
THE KIA National Twin-shock Championship is gathering pace with news that entries for the second round in the series - to be staged by the Golden Valley Classic MCC at Chavenage on Sunday, May 15 - has already reached an impressive 120.
This is actually the theoretical limit but with interest still high the club has said it will take a few more.
Gerry Minshall has been down to the venue to check it out and make sure that the sections will be absolutely right for both Expert and Clubmen.
With another seven rounds still to go in the 2016 series all the signs are for a record breaking final total of entries.
And included in that is an inaugural two-day event for the series, on the weekend July 30/31, which will be staged by the Northallerton club at Helmsley on the north Yorks moors.
With the vastly experienced Bill Pye in charge of that one a great weekend is in prospect.
