TXT machine - Gas Gas unveil 2018 GP special

THE Girona based Gas Gas concern pioneered the concept of the Special Edition trials models, a succession of which have become eagerly anticipated and top sellers as they have always represented excellent value for money with their top specs.
So the announcement of the Gas Gas TXT GP 2018 model is sure to raise a few heartbeats especially as it will be available in all four engine capacities, 125, 250, 280 and 300.
It certainly looks the business with the black finished chrome-moly frame and wheel rims set off by bright red plastics and water hoses and a classy gold theme for the suspension.
Up front is a pair of latest spec Tech forks with new springs and adjustments while a quality Ohlins shock controls the rear and British Renthal bars are a neat touch.
The engine sports Boyesen carbon reed valves, Hidria double spark ignition and variable preload for the clutch springs so you can set the clutch up exactly how you like it.
A super light titanium exhaust front pipe is always a winner as is the carbon fibre exhaust guard.
