Gelabert out of action after foot operation

Sherco factory rider Miquel Gelabert will be out of action for several weeks following an operation to repair a broken bone in his left foot.
Gelabert suffered the injury early in the season when riding in a local trial but it was felt that an operation wasnt necessary. So he opted to miss the opening X-Trial round in Budapest but came back for his home round in Barcelona and contested the next three rounds also.
But he has been riding in some discomfort, the decision was made to operate and the deed has been done. Miquel is hoping to be back in action for the final X-Trial which will be in Andorra on Saturday, April 27.
