The calendar for next years FIM X-Trial World Championship has been finalised comprising eight rounds, seven of which will be in Europe along with a flyaway event in Costa Rica.
The championship opens with X-Trial Budapest in Hungary on January 20 and concludes in Andorra La Vella on April 27. The big news is that X-Trial will leave Europe for the first time in over a decade with the seventh round taking place in Costa Rica.
As the series continues to grow, six new destinations are on the calendar for 2019 including a first-ever visit to Moscow, a return to the principality of Andorra, Marseille and Granada as well as the addition of a date in Bilbao. The FIM X-Trial of Nations remains in France but moves to Vende, the scene of the opening round of this years solo indoor championship.
