Report: Horsham Riders TC

The second Horsham Riders Trials Club outing played hjst to another large entry at Mannings Heath, near Horsham, Sussex.A total of 51 riders tackled a very slippery course set out on Saturday and heavy overnight rain made the sections even more difficult than expected.
Section one proved very hard for the White route riders with a drop down by the large pond and a tight turn up over a rock wall.
First rider through was Michael Hyden – who was out for the first time on a new 2016 Beta.
He picked up an unwanted five though, with good rides on this section from trial winner Andy Dudman and Jack Dance.
On the Blue route young Jack Taylor recorded his second win of the year from Jim Marsh and regular winner Tom Horsborough who was having a hard time in the mud. Paul Aylett took his first win on the Yellow route, a jump of three places from the last month.
Pete Thatcher took second from Ian McCulloch, who out on a new Sherco.
A larger than normal entry on the Red route was headed by Rachel Measures from Simon Canacott and Chris Chappell.

Blue Route: Jack Taylor 36, Jim Marsh 50, Tom Horsborough 64, Tim Husband 67, John Illingworth 84, Graham Knight 90.
Yellow Route: Paul Aylett 25, Pete Thatcher 31, Ian McCulloch 42, Gary Stewart 47, Chris Heron 47, Mark Webber 59, Mick Dunstan 66.
Red Route: Rachel Measures 12, Simon Canacott 18, Chris Chappell 22, S Alexander 48, Josh Benton 54.
