Report: Kensworth MX Club - Round 12

THE 12th and final round of Kensworths championship, sponsored by Holywell Skip Hire, was held at Mildenhall on Sunday.The track coped well as more than 200 riders took part and tensions were high as the final championship positions were decided.

The Small-wheel 85s were first out and Kieran Thomas put in a perfect performance, taking maximum points with Cullen Scott sitting tight in second place all day. 
Brad Nolan was also a consistent rider, taking all third spots and the last place on the podium.
The Schoolboys 125/250F group also saw a trio of wins, this time from Chris Nuttall. 
Max Maxted worked hard all day and was rewarded with second overall, leaving a consistent Toby Avis to snatch third.
The Autos were next out and Karin Haddon led from the front. 
She took the first two wins but had to settle for second in the final race as Devon Harris took the last chequered flag to secure third overall.
Bayley Ward-Clark had a very consistent ride and nabbed second place by one point from Devon.
Alfie Jones was completely dominant in the Junior 65s although Thomas Harris tried hard to catch him all day and secured second overall. 
Charlie Reynolds was also in the mix at the front and ended the day only two points behind Thomas.
Paul Willis  was out in front in The Adult Over 35s but failed to secure a  maximum when he  finished the day with a runner-up spot as Mark Hawkins took the final win. Rob Mead claimed third. 
Daniel Sultana ended the season on a high by taking two wins to secure top spot in the Big-wheel 85s. 
Mac Burdett was a consistent second, leaving Sam Ongley to pick up all three third place finishes.
In the Adult Under 35s Luke Gidney enjoyed two race wins to take the top spot ahead of nearest rival Chubby Hammond, who won the middle race. 
The last place on the podium went to Corey Hockey.

Big-Wheel 85s: 1 Daniel Sultana, 2 Mac Burdett, 3 Sam Ongley, 4 Billy Wilson, 5 Lewis O'Sullivan, 6 Ethan Etheridge.
