YOU can't beat a new bike to get the momentum going and Sherco is now getting its bandwagon rolling on the back of the exciting new 2010 trials model. In Britain, both Michael Brown and Wayne Braybrook (left) have won trials over the holiday period mounted on 2010 bikes and the Spanish factory's number one rider Albert Cabestany has signed-up again and will gain motivation with a switch back to two-stroke power after two season's on the 320 four-stroke.

Michael Brown gave the 2010 MRS Sherco its first very victory at Dob Park, near Otley, Yorks. Said Michael, to T+MX the following morning: That was the first time out in a trial. I have done the practice bit but Monday was the tester. It rode fine. If anything, the power delivery has changed, I think that to say it was a much smoother engine would be true. I was happy on it anyway. Dob Park and Brown's Wood provided a good variety of sections and I cleaned the trial!

It was certainly the perfect start for Michael and his new mount.

Next-up it is Sheffield for the Indoor trial on Saturday night. And I have to ride the Cliff Collinson National on the following day, otherwise I would be lynched by the Scarborough club's hitmen. There is also the little matter of a hundred quid on offer, added the Mighty Atom.

Wayne Braybrook then showed that he too can win on a Sherco in Dob Park by taking the Premier in an Ilkley club promotion at the famous Yorkshire venue.

For factory rider Cabestany a return to two-stroke power after successfully campaigning the powerful, 320 four-stroke is intended to give the quiet man from Tarragona a new lease of life. The two-stroke engine has undergone a lot of development since I last rode it and I am looking forward to 2010 with the all new bike. It will be good for my motivation.

British fans will have first chance to see Albert on the 2010 Sherco stroker at the Sheffield Indoor this Saturday along with Michael Brown!
