THIS weekend's stand alone round of the British QuadX Championships at Dean Moor looks like it could be a real cracker across all the classes, but especially the main Championship class where Paul Winrow, Paul Holmes and Jason MacBeth are all fairly close at the top of the standings. Winrow leads the series with a 26-point advantage over Holmes with MacBeth just a further 11 points off the pace.
At the most recent round at Culham, the trio were involved in some terrific scraps and just five points covered the three of them at the close of play.
There will be racing for everyone at Dean Moor. There's a Masters class for the more mature guys, which will be incorporated with the Championship Qualifiers.
The top six in the standings of the Qualifier series at the end of the season will be invited into the main 2010 Championship class.
Also on the programme will be classes for Youth Quad racers from the age of six-years-old on 50cc machines right through to 16-year-olds on 250cc racers.
With JUST Quads on the agenda, quadsters who don't have a race that day are urged to support the series by turning out as spectators.
Camping will be available at the venue from Saturday lunch-time.
This round of the series will be sponsored by Keith Knowles of KIK ATV, based in Chatburn, Lancashire.
