ACUE to sponsor British Solo Trials

The following press release is from the ACU:ACU Events is the new title sponsor for the fast growing 2009 British Solo Trials Championship. ACU Events (ACUE) is the commercial arm of motorcycle sports Governing Body, ACU Ltd. In 2008 ACUE ran the Isle of Man TT races as well as the UK rounds of MotoGP and World Superbikes at Donington Park. Part of the role of ACUE is to reinvest any profits back into motorcycle sport. Backing the British Solo Trials Championship offers ACU Events the perfect opportunity to support this popular Championship.
ACU Events Chairman Jim Parker said: ACU Events was established to strengthen motorcycle sport in the UK, and it is delighted to take a leading role in the British Solo Trials Championship. This Championship is a shining light for motorcycling with more and more people competing in this up and coming sport.
ACU Events is an organisation dedicated totally to supporting motorcycle sport in the UK. Every penny the organisation makes is destined to be reinvested into motorcycle sport. This is one of the first Championships to benefit and I'm sure there will be many more to come.
