An odd one!

The Ray Rowson heads-up against Jamie Lewis in a two-lap Dash for Cash' unfortunately was one contest that didn't quite materialise at Barmouth Beach Race on Sunday with injury forcing Ray to miss out on the chance of retaining the Darren Cleaver Memorial Trophy.
The trophy race, with its 500 winners purse, is kindly donated by the Barmouth Lifeboat station to commemorate Darren Cleaver, who was a member of the lifeboat team who died of a heart attack on the weekend of the beach race in 2006.
The trophy race has been run in the subsequent years. Ray won it in 2007 and again in 2008 sporting the number 111. So how about this for a coincidence. Ray had to hand over the trophy to a rider sporting number No 11 on Sunday at 1.11pm it's all a bit spooky but after all it was Halloween weekend!
