Anders is back on track

FOLLOWING his freak head-on accident with CH Racing Husqvarna team-mate, Mika Saarenkoski, mid way through the 2005 season, seven-time World Enduro Champion Anders Eriksson has endured more than his fair share of ups and downs in the past 18-months.
Needing numerous operations and countless hours of rehabilitation, the Swede is now back on track and ready to race once again.
Re-signed to the CH Racing Husqvarna team, his 12th season with the Varese based squad, Anders will compete in the Enduro 3 class in this year's World Enduro Championship before re-assessing his competitive future.
Now free of metal work and looking forward to racing again, T+MX enduro correspondent JONTY EDMUNDS caught up with Anders after the ‘Tough One' and asked the Swede about the difficulties of preparing himself for a post- injury WEC assault, the need for more operations and what he thought of Britain's number one extreme event...
