June 23/24 are the dates for this years BXUK QRA Joes Bar Goldrush Beach Cross weekend. The MX style track is constructed on the dry sands of Ingoldmells, near Skegness in Lincolnshire.
Competitors park up on the promenade, just metres away from the track. After qualification, each class gets three rides per day, so six point scoring rides over the two days towards the overall event result. There are A and B Adult Quad and Elite Youth Quad classes.
With the support of Duck Smart there will be a wash bay provided should the need arise to clean the machines during the weekend.
In the Quad class the field is headed by Frenchman Jérome Bricheux and Belgian ace Auke Theuninck, with many Brits, including last year's top three Luke Brown, Paul Bennett, and Laurence Stopps, plus in-form James Fletcher and several lady riders including Katie Hodgson and Jade Pole.
