Big news in the pipeline

Colunists

OKAY, so last month I said that this time I will have lots of news to tell you.

Well if my column was due next week I would have an endless list of things to enlighten you with.

But right now I can't really tell you anything as it has not been made official yet.

There are some big things happening with the team and some even bigger things happening with myself.

I am on the edge of my seat right now while I'm typing this trying not to give away too much – so I will just have to keep my mouth shut until next month.

The last month at the shop has been pretty quiet. With only Dean Wilson riding and getting ready for the Monster Cup we been catching up and getting on top of things.

We are now superbly organised and ready for the guys to come back and start riding again.

By the time you read this it will be well under way. We have a clear direction where we are headed and I am excited to get it going again.

At the beginning of the week we had some news that all took us by surprise and that was the sudden leaving of fellow-mechanic Paul Perebinous.

You guys will probably remember him as Dean Wilson's mechanic in the past and he worked with Blake Baggett this year.

He was a cool guy and became a good friend of mine here so he will be missed – but I wish him luck in his new venture.

For the first time in for as long as I can remember I watched the Motocross of Nations on tv sat on my sofa.

It was unfortunate we didn't get to go as I love that race and there is nothing like the atmosphere there.

We all hope and wish we have a better season next year and send a few guys.

Let me rephrase that. We must have a better year next year than we did this year

So the last month has consisted of organising and planning which I won't bore you with too much.

It really has been quiet here.

Not working late nights or weekends has actually felt strange but has been good for me.

With no real time off to recharge the batteries I have been trying to make the most of my relaxed schedule and have headed into Los Angeles a few times to explore and been out with some friends I have made since moving here.

It's been good to lead a normal like again.

Anyway I won't bore you for any longer as it has been such a quiet last four weeks.

All I can say is I cannot wait until next month to tell you my exciting news...
