THIS Sunday, August 14, sees the fifth year of the North Berks club running their Bonanza Super Trial at the superb Seymours Arena, Aston Tirrold, near Didcot, Oxon. This event, which is the clubs way of showcasing the sport, not only to trials fans but also bringing it to a wider audience, is getting bigger and better every year and as always it features the top British riders and also introduces International competitors for some added interest.

Reigning British Trials Champion James Dabill and his fellow Beta ace Jack Challoner, the Gas Gas squad of Michael Brown, Ross Danby and Sam Haslam, Sherco's Jonathon Richardson plus George Morton, Ben Morphett, Ricky Wiggins and Alexz Wigg – if he has recovered from his recent nasty ankle injury – will all be in the thick of it while the International flavour is added by French ace Loris Gubian... and they'll all be battling for the top prize of £850.

There will be two laps of seven sections for qualifying and the top four riders will go through to contest the final which will be a single lap of nine sections which have all been sponsored.

All the sections are sponsored a follows: 1 TRC Trucks, 2 MRS Sherco, 3 Andrews Building Company, 4 Terrafirma 4x4, 5 Bicester Tyre & Exhaust, 6 SPJ Autos, 7 GasGas Motos, 8 Acklams Beta, 9 Jitsie. There's further support from: Hagbourne Garage, Chequers Garage, Field Service Engineering, Fleur de Lys, Premier Bikes Didcot, Pete Welch Motor Engineers, Drayton Golf Club, Hope, Didcot Plant, Boshers Cholsey and Sammy Miller who's provided the trophies this year.

Said Stu Robinson: "It's great to have support from the importers with John Shirt of GasGas Motos bringing the first batch of 2012 Gas Gas PRO 250, 280 and 300 models to this years Super Trial while MRS Sherco are also bringing their 2012 model plus Cabestany replica. Acklams Beta will be on hand with their range of Betas while John Lee Motorcycles will have a stand as well."A whole lot of work has been put into altering the sections with more rocks and logs added to make the sections more challenging for the riders and more spectacular for the spectators to watch.

The Woodyard section features an eight-foot jump which is going to be very spectacular while the top step on the staircase section will sure sort the men from the boys! The final waterfall, which only had one clean last year will be a great section to finish the day on which has excellent viewing and all sections are very easy to get to for spectators.

There is free camping on Saturday night with toilets and fresh water in the camping field. Admission will be just £10 for Adults, £5 for 5-16 year olds and under 5s free. There is ample parking and refreshments are available on Sunday. Seymours Arena will be sign posted off the A417 Wantage to Reading Road.

This is a truly unique event and the action will commence at 11am and the gates will open for business at 10am.
