FOURTEEN-year-old Halifax enduro rider Michael Briggs recently claimed the 2006 WOR/ Motul GB Hare Scrambles championship in the Big-wheel 85cc class.

The Premier Youth title in national off-road racing took place over six rounds and covered a vast array of terrain across the UK thanks to WOR supremo Steve Ireland's amazing capacity to find new venues, and Michael was invited to the recent Tough One extreme enduro race at Nantmawr Quarry to collect his championship award from none other than reigning double World enduro champion David Knight.

Congratulations Michael.
