Brown bags the Cambrian!

Alastair Brown won the Welsh Trail Riders Association (WTRA) two-day Cambrian Rally by the tightest of margins at the weekend.
The superfit youngster from Brighton set a cracking pace on his SS Racing Husqvarna on all six special tests with 39-year-old Craig Bounds (630 Ascari Husky) chasing him all the way.
Bounds beat Brown on the second special test on day two by just 34-seconds, making it a close run thing over 210-miles of riding, but Craig emerged the overall winner of the four round championship
series.
Now in it's 18th year, the Cambrian was the first UK based enduro style rally for big trail bikes – and it is still a crowd puller.
Lyndon Poskitt (950 KTM) was only seconds behind the two top Husky riders with Stuart Carling on another big KTM also posting a set of impressive special test times.
Taking in the challenging terrain of the Twyi Forest around Llandovery the event's 35-mile lap had variety in abundance with fast forestry access roads pushing the speeds up for the big bikes. Quick, tough and good fun sums it up nicely!
