Sheffield debut for Nico Aubin

Dave Thorpes new signing Nico Aubin (pictured) will make his debut for the Buildbase Honda team at the Sheffield Supercross this Saturday.

The 23-year-old French rider, who moves up to the MX1 class next season after finishing seventh in this year's World MX2 series, has been using a CRF250 to get acquainted to his new mount and will race the smaller machine in both MX1 and MX2 classes at the Motorpoint
Arena this weekend.

A number of other riders will also be out on new machinery – Adam Chatfield for Buff Honda, Gordon Crockard for Norman Watt Kawasaki and Stephen Sword for TAS Relentless Suzuki – while Jack Brunell will be there for Rabbit Kawasaki, Nev Bradshaw for Evotech Stevens Honda, Steven Clarke and Lewis Gregory for Maxxis Apico Suzuki, Elliott Banks-Browne for Pulse DB Honda, Ashley Greedy and Connor Walkley for Maxxis Henderson Kawasaki, Brad Anderson for PAR Honda and Edward Allingham for No Fear Kawasaki.

Tom Church will be defending the UK SX title for HM Plant Red Bull KTM and Martin Barr will have his final outing for Boost Energy KTM before switching to Maxxis Henderson Kawasaki in Belfast next month.
