Centre stage

THIS year's Inter Centre Team Trial will be hosted by the Cornwall Centre when it takes place on the weekend August 22/23 and it is all systems go for the team that is putting the event together. The trial will take place at Rose Wall Hill which overlooks St Ives and we are assured that the views out to sea are fantastic.
The event will take place over a two lap course containing 20 sections on moorland that is part of the rich Cornish tin mining history. Cornish trials enthusiasts are really getting behind the event and have been hard at work organising and plotting sections for this fabulous two day event.
Youths have their event on the Saturday while Sidecars and Solos get their turn on Sunday. The Inter Centre is a super social occasion these days simply because the classes can watch each other over the two days.
Every centre team manager should by now have received their entry forms and this year's organisers say that as soon as they have picked their teams could they please send the completed forms back as soon as possible to Heather Wilcox, Trebelsue Farm Cottage, Newquay, Cornwall, TR8 4AN. Or if you are a manager who hasn't yet received a set you can ring 01637-871033.
The oganisers say it is their intention to make it a fun and enjoyable event in this wonderful location with the fishing village of St Ives, the golden sandy beaches and the stunning views.
They look forward to welcoming all the teams from the length and breadth of the country is the land of cream teas and Cornish pasties!
