Cheque point...

THE committee of the Welsh Two-Day Enduro were out in force at the Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod Wells, recently, with a selection of guests to present a number of cheques totalling 3,250 to local good causes.
Amongst the recipients were the St John AmbulanceBrigade branches of Newtown, Rhayader and Llandrindod Wells, whichreceived cheques for 500 each and a similar amount was handed over tothe Wales Air Ambulance.
A further cheque was presented to the AirAmbulance in memory of Alec Wardman, who died back in October. In histime, Alec had served as Mid-Wales Centre Secretary for a period of14-years and was heavily involved with the Welsh Two-Day Enduro as acommitteeman.
