Danby completes Sheffield line-up!

THE annual Sheffield Indoor Trial is rapidly approaching - Saturday, December 29 in case you had forgotten - and the latest news is the full rider line-up is now known.
This year, promoter Avondale Management has addedto the excitement by naming just five of the six riders who areguaranteed a start - with the sixth and final place up for grabs on thenight and to be decided by a run-off between three up-and-comingBritish lads.
Dougie Lampkin, Toni Bou, Adam Raga, TakahisaFujinami and James Dabill have been inked-in for some while now butAvondale has now made a decision on the three eager young Brits whowill battle it out in what is sure to be a short, sharp decider for theall-important, prestigious final place. And it is Ross Danby who willjoin Michael Brown and Alexz Wigg.
Browny, on the TTT Beta, will attempt to head offthe Gas Gas-mounted teenagers but he will have his work cut-out.Michael is of course the reigning World Junior Cup champ while Wiggywas runner-up in the series. And not to be outdone, Ross was runner-upin the World Youth Champs to Spaniard Alfredo Gomez. Alexz will beriding his JST Gas Gas for the last time before moving to join Dabillat the Italian Future TRW Montesa team. Danby has meanwhile beengetting used to his 250 Gasser after squeezing miracles out of his 125screamer all season.
Martin Lampkin, as ever the section plotter atSheffield with a wealth of experience, will be in charge of whichsections - or even which parts of sections - the youngsters will battleit out over. Mart is well aware of how physically demanding Indoorsections are and he doesn't want to drain them before they get theirbig chance so expect several short, sharp technical challenges to sortout a winner.
