..with victory at the Alan Trophy Trial Dan Thorpe collected his 100th National win
THE recent 80th running of the Alan Trophy Trial, staged in Cumbria, saw Gas Gas UK rider Dan Thorpe rack-up his 100th National Trial victory, an amazing achievement for the 31 year-old Sheffield rider. T+MX grabbed half an hour with Dan when he visited the GGUK Buxton headquarters last week for a chat about the feat. The ton-up stats are nine wins on Yamaha TYZ and an amazing 91 on Gas Gas - I just want nine more for 100 on Gas Gas - that would be something, said Dan!
