THE opening round of the 2007 MCF DEP Two-Stroke British Championship kicks-off on April 22 at the fantastic Canada Heights circuit in Kent, and with the 125cc and 250cc classes over subscribed, the ten-round series looks like its going from strength to strength.
And it's not just the 30,000 in prize money thathas attracted such a huge response. ''We believe that over the pastcouple of years we've worked very hard at listening to what the riderwants'' explains series founder and organiser Chris Barker. ''Ok, theprize money is a massive incentive, but we've invested so much timeover the winter trying to take the series to the next level withoutlosing its friendly atmosphere, that's why the series will hopefullyremain successful'', continues Barker.
The tracks also play a major part in the growth ofthe championship and top class venues such as Canada Heights, Landrake,Culham and Matchams Park to name only a few are on the schedule and area real testament to the status of the series.
