THE chance to secure two fully sponsored rides for the upcoming 2007 Youth motocross season is currently being offered to racers nationwide as Stratford-upon-Avon dealership RideMX, in association with a host of big name sponsors, returns with its incredible Ride MX Factor competition to find two of the country's most promising racers to support.
The innovative and extremely successful programme that, last year, saw Irish talent Drew Goudy scoop the coveted sponsorhip deal and go on to take national wins, is bigger and better for 2007 – with two rides now up for grabs – and with the closing date of February 16 for interested parties to apply for what is undoubtedly one of the biggest opportunities in motocross fast approaching, the message to all national level riders is get you applications in NOW.
The full sponsorship packages have not yet been completely finalised but the two riders deemed to have the ‘Ride MX Factor' and chosen for the sponsorship deal will receive the loan of a fully-tuned Yamaha for the season, monthly bike maintenance in the Ride MX workshops, set-up and tuning advice, Michelin tyres, Putoline oils and rider instruction from former GP hero Robbie Herring.
