Now that Stefan has gone...

FRANCE will hold two major motocross events in the next six months with Grand Prix riders in attendance especially when one of the events is actually a GP round seven at St Jean d'Angely on June 10/ 11, but even sooner at the annual International at Valence on February 24/ 25.
Since the demise of the annual season opener at Beaucaire, in France, a few seasons ago, Valence has become one of the main pre-season races, after Mantova (February 11) and before our own Hawkstone Park International on March 4, a few weeks prior to the opening GP in Valkenswaard on April 1.
Most of the MX1 and MX2 favourites will race three motos (20 minutes each) on the French track.
What will be most interesting will be how all the main protagonists for this season's MX1 title deal with each other now Stefan Everts is no longer part of the equation?
