Elliott and Brad land home deals

OUT of a GP ride after the closure of the Suzuki Swift team last week, Elliott Banks-Browne and Brad Anderson have each quickly found rides for 2009, but each will race predominantly in the UK. Banks-Browne, who is a GP veteran of three seasons at the ripe old age of 18, will join the LPE Kawasaki team and, sixth ranked in the British
MX2 championship this year, can be considered as the green team leader in that class on the home front.
And, after recent outings on a 450 in the final rounds of the German championship, Elliott already has his sights on the MX1 class: I will also ride the MMX championship and the Red Bull Pro class on a 450 as well as some DEP rounds on a 250 two-stroke. Maybe I will do some GPs on the 450 too.
Anderson, meanwhile, has inked a deal with Par Homes Honda to go for gold in Britain again next year after just one injury-hit season on the world stage. I'll be doing all the English stuff, might get to some GPs if they don't clash, said the 27-year-old from the north-east.
