End of the road for White Horse

THIS is to let all club members, past and present, know that from the end of the 2007 season the Vale of the White Horse MXC Youth section will finish running.
After 35 years of running the club, and owing to ill health (and old age!) we have decided after much thought that it is time to retire.
During this time we have met many people and have made some great friends. The club has been a big part in our lives and we will miss you all, but I expect we will see you around somewhere or other.
We would like to wish you good luck and good racing in the future.
Hopefully a new club will start with a new name, and whoever does start, we hope you will give them your support.
Finally we would like to say a special thank you to our loyal gang of helpers, who over the past few years have worked their socks off on Saturdays preparing the track, so that it has been in perfect condition for racing on Sunday and another big thank you to all our Sunday helpers. You have all been a credit to the club.
