THE MCF has now announced a finalised calendar for the new QMS Nationals series in an effort to avoid date clashes with the ACU QX series.

The QMS series will cater for three main MCF-sanctioned British Championship classes: the ATV's Only QRA Quadcross, the Clubman Motocross and the Centrilift Sidecarcross, and will be run over four events.

The confirmed dates in 2013 will be: Round 1 – April 28; Round 2 – May 12; Round 3 – June 2; Round 4 –
August 11.

Tony Nash, the quad co-ordinator, is working hard behind the scenes to fit in another stand-alone round for the quad class, potentially on July 28.

All of the venues, which will be suited to all three classes, will be confirmed now that the dates are sorted.

This is good news for the fledgling series, making the events available to a bigger catchment of riders, and by working with the AMCA, the dates will also be available to its riders to compete in the Sidecarcross class.

"This is great news for the series,” Kevin Daniels of the promotion team said.

"We were concerned that the lack of available dates around the Sidecar GPs was going to prove impossible to overcome and we are grateful to the ACU for working with us on this.”

Anybody wishing to enter for the series can find all of the information on the forms tab of the MC Federation website, with registrations and licences available to complete online.

The QMS Nationals website is close to completion and should be online shortly with the ACU QX dates
confirmed.

The ACU Motocross Department has announced a revised calendar for the 2013 ACU QX Championships. The new revised championship dates for both the British QX are:

April 14 at Milton Park.May 6 at Asham Woods. June 30 at Wooley Grange. July 14 at Grittenham. August 4 at venue TBA. Quad Adult and Youth Quad.

October 6 at venue TBA.

The QX Championship will run over the above six rounds, with a British Quad MX1 Class, Under-21 Class, Masters Class and Clubman Class Championships competing in the same race.

A one-off Youth Quad Championship event will join the adults on August 4.

The ACU will remove the rider registration fee and there will be an increased prize fund put in place, with money being paid out at each round.
