Factory fun: You choose!

Limited Edition replicas are nothing new but no-one does them as well as the Spanish Gas Gas factory. The Raga Replica trials models are eagerly awaited each year by loyal GG fans and the factory also does a very nice line in Enduro reps as well - as you can see here - with their just announced 2011 Cervantes and Nambotin two-stroke EC models.
Ivan Cervantes is of course GG's big enduro signing for 2011 and there will no doubt be a major home market for the popular Spanish ace while Christophe Nambotin has flown the GG flag successfully for several seasons. The Cervantes Replica will be restricted exclusively to the EC250 model with the Nambotin Rep applicable to the EC300.
The Gerona factory, to the north of Barcelona, has been working very hard on increased quality and quality control on their entire range recently and there's no doubt that both trials and enduro models are noticeably improved in quality. British importer John Shirt is adamant that these two models are without a doubt the best ever from Gas Gas.
The basic EC layout remains unchanged with the sharp handling twin-spar chassis housing GG's own well tried and tested two-stroke engine unit. The increased spec includes top spec Marzocchi 48mm forks with specific settings and a top quality Ohlins rear unit which is coupled to a NEW linkage system.
The two models are being built at the factory this month (May) and numbers will be limited. No price has been set yet but the specification is high and the price will naturally reflect this. On the other hand you won't be spending a fortune on after-market goodies.
