Fast Eddy heading for Butts

In a slight lull between extreme events, Paul Emondson is running the opening round of the Fast Eddy Rock Oil XC Championship at The Butts Quarry, near Ashover, Derbyshire.

 

The event is scheduled forthis Sunday, February 10.
 
The Butts is an excellent venue for the start of this high profile series with great parking facilities and a good variety of terrain.
 
Fast Eddy events at The Butts always attract a good entry and each race is limited to 80-riders so get your entry in now if you want to secure your place. 
 
Three races are planned for the day, kicking off with the Youth race from 9am until 10.30am.
 
The first adult race – from 10.30am until 12.30pm – will cater for Veteran, Sportsman, Youth 13-16 and Novice classes.
 
At 1pm the second adult race of the day gets underway for two-hours, with the Pro, Expert and Clubman riders out on the course.
 
Regular Rock Oil XC riders will need no prompting to enter the event.
 
But if you haven't ridden a Fast Eddy yet, then the Butts is definitely for you.
