The fasteddyracing.com team has announced a unique new Extreme Enduro event which is scheduled to run on January 23, at a venue, near Leeds. It will be titled Eddys X-treme Enduro'. The fixture will play host to Britain and the world's best riders in this particular style of racing with a challenging and specially designed course. A mix of extreme, enduro, trials and X-country going will be put together to test riders of the highest calibre.
David Knight and Tom Sagar will go head-to-head with extreme and trial stars Dougie Lampkin, Graham Jarvis and the up-and coming Johnny Walker, so the event is set to be a cracker.
Fast Eddy's very own Paul Edmondson will design the course with the help of other top enduro and trials riders, all with valuable experience, and that will play a big part in the course structure.
The main emphasis of the event will be to provide a unique course that can challenge with the likes of David Knight while still being negotiable by some of the UK's top expert, veteran and clubman riders.
To achieve this there will be plenty of alternative lines around the difficult sections that will prove very spectacular.
The event has also gained the support of the ACU, which have been very positive with the proposals it has received regarding the event.
Paul Edmondson explains: "Yet again this is a new challenge for myself and the team that helps at our events. I feel the time is right for us to try something new and give UK riders a chance to ride at an event with a European flavour. With great support coming from Britain's top riders and the ACU, I am now keen to get on my bike and start planning the course.”
More details regarding race format, entry and admission charges and trade stands will be available on December 1, when the fasteddyracing.com website will have an up-dated page dedicated to the X-treme Enduro.
