Gary's High' on Gas

GARY Macdonald has agreed terms with John Shirt and will be a JST Gas Gas UK rider for 2010 with support from the popular Scottish Trials Dealer, Highland Leisure Sport.
Gary has had a long and successful relationship with MRS and Sherco and wants to thank them for all they have done for him.The Kinlochleven rider simply wants a change of machinery to boost his enthusiasm for next year. He will ride a JST Prepared PRO300 and will hopefully ride the British Trials Championship in the Expert A class, in which he finished second to Sam Connor this year.
Gas Gas boast the British Champion, James Dabill, going into 2010 but the best Gas Gas rider in the Expert A was Lee Sampson in fourth. Lee did well but with Gary on board John Shirt is looking to do the double in 2010 with both Championship and Expert Classes. An enthused Shirty said, "It is really great that Gary is now on board, the Expert A class really is a very competitive and successful class in the British Trials Championship and he is a real contender.”
As well as the British championship, to which he travels several thousand miles a year from his home in the Highlands, Gary will also look forward to his (and GGUKs) favourite event, the Scottish Six Days Trial, which is considerably closer to his home!
