THE big guns of British trialing fire on Sunday at the Jack Wood Trophy national trial at Bradfield, near Sheffield, where a mighty 150 riders hit the traditional trial covering one lap and eleven groups of sections which will end, as ever, in the spectacular River Kwai ravine.

The one big name missing is Sunday's Clevelandwinner, Graham Jarvis, who will be playing the enduro tune on hismulti-tasking fiddle, so that will give the other major players a levelbattleground. The time allowance will be a huge seven and aquarter hours and the club have set the start time forward to 9am toensure all the entry get round in daylight. The route tracks the oldfavourite groups: Hill House, Fletchers/ Lumbush, TCC, Spoon Lane,Bents, Ughill, Hoyles New Gulley, Hoyles Folly and Hoyles Gulley.
