THE Express Insurance British Youth Motocross Championship received a major boost as the ACU confirmed the addition of Hawkstone Park as a venue for a round of the premier youth motocross series.

The event will be round five of the series and will he held over the weekend of July 17 and 18 when the best of British Youth motocross riders compete for the title of BYMX champion on the tough Shropshire circuit.

This will be as hard as it gets for the Youth riders on a renowned race track which has a reputation for finding out whether a rider really can do the business. The riders will compete in five races over the weekend plus a Saturday morning start line qualification session.

In addition to the Youth and Clubman series races on the Sunday, the event will incorporate round two of the ACU British Ladies Motocross Championship.

There are still spaces available to register in all classes for the individual class championships, Junior 65cc, Small and Big-wheel 85cc, the Open Youth class and the supporting Adult Clubman championship.
