It’s Snow joke for OSET

The OSET Snowman Trial at Eadons Field near Dronfield Derbyshire saw 24 excited riders wrapped up against the cold and looking forward to riding the OSETs delivered by Santa in what was for some, their first EVER trial!
Run by the No Limits Trials Academy and sponsored by Splat Shop, all riders and their families nearly had enough snow to build their own snowman mascot.
Snow and rain resulted in super slippery conditions for the youngsters.
A practice lap got the day going, allowing riders to settle down before the start of the two-lap, six-section course. The section of the day proved to be a rocky stream. Wet feet, for riders and parents, didn't deter, in fact, Lance Hurdsman, dad of little Welsh wonder, Lewis, said it was the best section they had ever ridden.
Andy Hogg from No Limits Trials Academy, said; "For those youngsters it must have felt like the equivalent of the Scott. ‘‘It was undoubtedly a cold day but the way they all stuck at it and gave every section their best was marvellous to see.”
Easy route win was bagged by Rian Garlic with runner up going to Osian Jones and third to Kobe Jobson.
Intermediate OSET 16 route was won by George Hemingway who kept his head to finish only three marks in front of runner up Jak Heaney which had to be decided on most cleans.
Third place went to Morgan Shepherd. Intermediate route OSET 20, was yet another tight battle on the new larger 48 volt bike.
Owen Barns from Preston took the win with Sam Charles in second and Taylor Crossland taking third.
Daniel Jones rode up against himself in the older group taking a well-earned top spot medallion.
Four riders battled all day on the Hard route, to finish within just four dabs of each other with the win having to go down to most twos. Ryan Shepherd was delighted to come out on top from Henry Stephenson and Lewis Hurdsman.
Andy Hogg and Rory of No Limits Trial Academy would like to thank the land owner, OSET, Splat Shop and all riders who are all winners for persevering in the cold damp conditions. No Limits Trials Academy will run the Southern Series OSET Cup, details currently being finalised.
