It’s Town ’n out

Ben Townleys return to the AMA Nationals on Chad Reeds Two Two Honda has been put in doubt.
The Kiwi dislocated a hip on the second lap of practice at round two of the Australian Nationals – his final appearance down under before jetting to the States.
There is no news of how long ‘BT' will be out, but hips are not easy.
In his absence Josh Coppins gave the Aussies a lesson in racing as he took the overall with a 4-3-1 day on the CDR Rockstar Yamaha.
"It feels good to win because I felt like I struggled on Saturday and didn't really ride that well today either,” he said.
"I just had to be patient and the first five-lap races weren't long enough for me. I knew the final longer moto would suit me, so I focused on
winning that one. It's been a great start to the season so far.”
Townley's injury left Brad Anderson to defend Carlton Dry Honda honour alone.
Although not at his best on the blindingly fast track, the North-Easterner stuck it out for fifth on the day behind defending champion, Jay Marmont, and is still right in contention, holding down fourth in the points.
The series continues at Wonthaggi in Victoria on April 28/29.
