DON'T put your buckets and spades away yet. The QRA Margate Big Sky Beach races for adult quads are set for November 22/23.
The programme will include races for solo and quad riders in Open classes, Over 40-year-old, teams and other classifications. There will be three races for each class each day after timed qualifying on the Saturday morning. The QRA is also planning an oval event on the Saturday evening on the beach under floodlights.
Tony Nash has changed the layout of the track from that used at the February event. It will be laid out length ways on the main beach. This should make it flow better and with the longer straights with jumps and undulations set out it will be an even bigger spectacle for supporters and riders.
Special hotel rates have been confirmed.
Fenced-in secure parking for competitors will be available from Friday, November 21. The Police have once again agreed to close the roads at set times each day to allow access to the pit area on the beach under the cafe.
Full details will be sent out with regs and entry forms and you can get yours by contacting Gaynor Nash on 01264-354259 or via an e-mail to gaynor@qrauk.com
