Motogo 07 series finalised

THE battle-hardened winter warriors at Wilden MXC have finalised the dates for its popular Motogoo Champion of Champions Winter series in 2007.

The series has been full to bursting for the past few years and the five round 2007 series will surely follow suit when it all kicks-off at all-weather Wilden Lane, Kidderminster, on January 21.

The remaining four rounds will be split between Wilden and Polesworth as follows; January 28 – Polesworth, February 4 – Wilden Lane, February 11 – Polesworth, February 25 – Polesworth, and riders must compete in all five rounds to qualify for the series.

Championship classes are open from Junior 65cc to Youth 125cc on two-stroke machines only and Adult classes will also be catered for, although as per the rules at Wilden Lane only two-strokes will be elgible to compete there.

With four-strokes allowed to run at Polesworth, the club will run a special Honda 150F only class at the Polesworth rounds, open to 12-14 year-olds. Automatics too will have their own championship, run only at Wilden Lane on a seperate track.

The club is running a series of Open meetings too in the new year, begining on January 7 at Wilden Lane with four more visits to the track on February 18, March 11, March 18 and April 1.
