No British Champs for Max and Tommy

MAX Anstie and Tommy Searle will return to Europe in 2011 to race the GPs, but they will not be contesting the Maxxis series.
While a wild-card appearance cannot be ruled out, both young Brits will be occupied elsewhere, going for gold in the French Elite series.
CLS Monster Energy Pro-Circuit Kawasaki team owner, Jean-Jacques Luisetti, explained:
"Since the team was established five-years ago the French Elite championship has been an integral part of our calendar and this will remain so even though neither of our riders are French.
"It is our intention to retain the French title which Steven Frossard won for us this year, and both Tommy and Max will race with a French licence in 2011.”
The amiable Frenchman is excited about Max Anstie's race debut for the team at Bercy next month: "Mitch Payton has put top grade SX bikes at our disposal for Bercy and Max has been training in California.
"Each time Max has raced at Bercy, both in the 85cc and 125cc classes, he has put on an imposing display and I am sure he will do so again when he returns to Europe next month.”
