North heads south

THE qualifier for the CCM ACU MMX Champs Quad class was hosted by South Hants Scramble Club at Hawbridge Farm, Alton, on Sunday, in near perfect conditions - very cold, but the sun shone on the 27 Quad starters for most of the day.
Ireland had a strong contingent of six riders whomade the trip to fight for the 13 positions available in to the mainchampionship. Manx flyer Jamie Corkish ventured over to the mainland toexperience the competition and Jonathan Young was back sitting on fourwheels rather than between them, having ventured back to Quad racingafter a four-year break car racing.
