THERE'S a superb Novogar National double-headercoming up this Easter, which is rapidly approaching!
Regulations ought to be in the T+MX Regs Available columns this week (if not, they will be shortly!) for the third round of the ACU National Novogar Clubmans trials championship which will be staged on Sunday, March 23 at Dob Park, Otley, Yorkshire.
This cracking, single lap traditional National will cover 40 sections, based on Dob Park, with a shortish lap taking in extra groups of sections at Sword Point Woods and Low Snowden with a grand finale either in Brown's Wood or Dob Park. The entry limit is 150 and it will need to be!. The entry date is March 8 – first post. Start time will be 9.30am and there will be catering in the parc ferme but riders please note that NO overnight camping is permitted at Dob Park.
This Easter Sunday event will be followed the next day, Easter Monday, by the annual Lomax Cup Trial run by South Liverpool Motor Club at Glynn Ceiriog, North Wales, which can be found south west of Chester on Easter Monday.
Again, the Lomax Cup is a trad national with a great run out in super countryside and contains some cracking sections. Last year the club marked a total of 34 sections over the 45 mile route.
This is a brilliant weekend of Novogar action with two ‘proper' trials, none of your three times round a field nonsense.
Watch for regulations for two of the best of the Novogar series of trials of the year – and we'll bring you more info on both events as we receive it.
