Off for a bit of warm weather

NOT wanting to hang around to find out if the weather in the UK would improve after getting soaked to the skin at the Muntjac Enduro, defending BEC champion David Knight jumped on a plane to Florida on Monday morning, where he knows he'll enjoy good weather.
I know that in Florida I can go riding every day and that the weather won't be a problem. It's been planned for a while but even if it hadn't, after the weather we've been having at home recently I think I'd have decided to go last minute anyway.
Competing in the infamous Alligator Enduro, which like all US National Enduro events now runs along similar lines to WEC and BEC events, Knight will then spend a further week practicing before heading home in readiness for the first British Enduro Sprint Championship event at the end of March.
The first rounds of the WEC are getting closer and closer so I just need to be on a bike as much as I can. Although the weather wasn't good at the Muntjac I know now that if we have a wet world championship event I have a good set-up. Once back from Florida, I'll have the first Sprint Enduro, then the BEC in Scotland, and then it's straight to Spain for the WEC.
