Our Tracy's sand blast

THE 25th Weston Beach Race anniversary is upon us this weekend, October 20/ 21, and as well as the likes of Stefan Everts, David Knight, Steve Ramon and Josh Coppins who will all be battling it out for solo glory in Sunday's big race, T+MX News will also be represented out on the sands.
In a move harking back to the glory days of Mannix and Rapperstackling the infamous Weston dunes on their sidecar trials outfit, T+MXNews' very own Sidecar correspondent Tracy Thacker has teamed up withwell known sidecar crew, the GBH MX team, and will be attempting tofinish her very first Weston after 24-years of spectating, backed byT+MX. It's not just Tracy's first Weston, though, the event will be herfirst-ever race of any kind too.
Talk about throwing yourself in at the deep end! Having only just recently takento the track in a Sidecar for the very first time, Tracy will bejoining all the other sidecar and quad competitors down on the beach on Saturday afternoon for her appointment with destiny. T+MX will of course be there to cheer Tracyon, as we hope you will be too, and here she chronicles her decision toenter Weston and here preparations.
