Putoline finale's Jurby sand blast

THE 2008 Putoline XC Championship wraps up on the Isle of Man on Friday and Saturday, October 24/25, at the magnificent sand course, located at Jurby. This year riders will have plenty of opportunity to ride over both days of the event. Free practice sessions for all riders will be run on both Friday and Saturday. The weekend activities begin at 10am on Friday with a 2.5-hour training session, discounted to 25, with Paul and Lee Edmondson running the show.
Following straight afterwards, at 2pm, will be the Championship final Youth race which will run for 75-minutes, then is open house to all riders entered into the event as a practice session will give everyone a chance to hone their sand skills.
Saturday's main 2.5-hour race begins at 10.30am, followed by free practice from 1pm to 2.30pm.
With racing over, the celebrations begin at the Ginger Hall Hotel followed by the official Championship presentation at the Grand Island Hotel, Ramsey.
With great discounted deals on ferries, available by calling the Steam Packet Company and quoting Fast Eddy', and discounted accommodation there is plenty of opportunity to have a great weekend's riding relatively cheaply and, if you have never been to the Jurby event, you have never seen anything like it.
On-the-day and late entries will be available and no late entry fee will be applied.
