Raga on line for title
By TMX Archives on 9th Oct 08

ADAM Raga continues to chip away at the superiority of double World champ Toni Bou and the Gas Gas number one again put it across his Montesa rival in the sixth and penultimate round of the Spanish outdoor championship. Raga managed to ease out a two mark lead over his rival, one mark per lap, as the top two pulled away from their rivals at Valdemanco, near Madrid, last weekend. The win virtually assures Raga of the 2008 Spanish crown, as he currently stands 11 points clear of Bou. Third on the day was Sherco's Albert Cabestany and he is also third in the overall points table.
Eight times Ladies trials champ, Laia Sanz used her experience as well as her skill to give Montesa something to cheer as she rode to her first ever TR2 class win. Said a delighted Laia, This victory is very important to me and I give great value to this victory. The TR2 class is at a very high level.
The series will end on Sunday, November 9, at La Nucia, Alicante.
