WITH less than a fortnight to go to the first round of the Future West British Supercross Championship round at the NEC Birmingham, Cobra Mfg Europe and SM Racing are pleased to announce that they have agreed a support package with the Cobra Factory for another rider in the Auto class at this year's event. Cobra who have sponsored the Auto class for the last two seasons offer a full factory supported ride to the Auto class winner.

Seven year old Lancashire flyer James Scott will ride a full factory Cobra King 50cc Auto in his attempt to add the Supercross title to his already impressive debut year. Despite a mid season leg and collarbone injury, James totally dominated Cambridge and Vale MXC meetings to win both titles with one round to spare.

Already regarded as one to watch in the junior 65's next year, James was undoubtably the fastest Auto rider in the country this year and Cobra Mfg European Sales and Marketing Marketing Neil McClelland said we are delighted that James has agreed to join the Cobra family, he has shown great speed this year and despite only riding the 65 a few times in practice we are confident he will have another good season next year, he is definitely one to watch.

James (pictured) collected his pre-production 2010 Cobra CX65 on saturday, the only one in Europe, from manchester dealer SMRacing. We are happy to be supporting James for the Supercross and his debut Junior 65 year on Cobra, he's a local rider and we have got to see James progress into a dominant Auto rider and are confident he can finish his season with a victory at the Supercross

James will be attending the official practice sessions on Thursday and Friday before the first round in order to finish the bikes setup, anyone wanting to come and say hello and take a glimpse at the 2010 Cobra line-up is more than welcome.
