Shaun's back on course

SHAUN Morris made his first competitive appearance on a trials bike since September last year, when he injured his eye in an unfortunate workshop accident, on Sunday in the Westmorland Motor Club's Milnthorpe Cup Trial.
The popular Lancashire lad almost made it a winning comeback as well on his Gas Gas, only losing out to Cumbrian Darren Brice, who has struck a rich vein of form since switching to Scorpa for 2008. Shaun lost just a single five through the 35 sections with the remainder of his total of 15 being spread around the course.
Shaun is still having problems with the eye and all he can really do is give it time. It is still great news that Shaun is back out and about again and we know everyone in trials wishes him all the best and a full and speedy recovery.
