YOUNG trials enthusiasts have a new machine to get excited about as Italian manufacturer Beta has just released details a brand new, completely re-designed version of the 50cc Rev-3 model which will soon make an appearance in dealer showrooms across the land.

Totally new from the wheels up, the new REV-3 50 packs way more punch, handles much better, and will have D class runners desperate to get their hands on one for the new season.

A brand new frame reduces the overall weight of the bike and it's smaller dimensions vastly improve handling and ergonomics for the rider. However, the most impressive developments have been saved for the engine department and they will give the bike a big power boost over the current model which was last updated in 2006.
Most notably, the engine has been increased from a four-speed to six-speed which will give the rider a much better choice of gearing in sections and help improve their riding, and a heavy duty clutch will be fitted as standard to cope witht he extra power and torque squeezed out of the engine.
The bike still comes fitted with 19'' and 17'' wheels to remain within current trials regulations for D class.
The new REV-3 50 is expected to retail at around the £2,500 mark and early shipments of the bike are expected to hit UK shores anytime now.
