With the Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship now past the half-way mark and with the final two stops of the 2012 tour just around the corner, organiser GMC Events is gearing up for an action-packed end to the third year of sprint enduro racing.
Rounds seven and eight take the series to the Enduroland venue of Adstone, Northants, on May 19/20, where close racing dominated both days in 2011.
Finally, the series will head to the spectacular Canada Heights facility, Kent, where GMC Events will team up with Sidcup and DMCC for what is expected to be a thrilling end to the ten-round series.
New to the BSEC schedule last year the popular Enduroland track at Adstone delivered some incredibly close and exciting racing.
And the same is expected when the championship returns in three-weeks' time.
The penultimate weekend of racing will be the most central, and one not to be missed.
With fantastic terrain, including a plentiful supply of grass tracks, natural woodland, numerous exciting climbs and descents and some exciting man-made obstacles, the entire track will again be situated within a compact and easily accessible area close to the paddock and start/ finish area.
In mid-June the championship draws to a close at Canada Heights – one of the UK's premier
motocross tracks, which also boasts vast grass tracks and woodlands.
The final two rounds of the BSEC series will mark the first ever sprint enduro event at ‘the Heights'.
With both events fast approaching GMC Events kindly request any riders interested in competing to get their entries in as soon as possible, whether registered for the championship or not.
Entries are open for both events with classes for Elite, Expert, Under 23, Under 19, Youth 125cc Cup, Women and Clubman riders. Clubmen have the option of competing on one day only or, like in all other classes, on both days.
